A human-powered, socially-distant parade. Citizenship: A Practice of Society at MCA DENVER
 
For this performance DACA recipients (Dreamers) rode in flower draped shopping carts pushed by US citizen volunteers. All wore flower patterned jump suits. Using megaphones, Dreamers chanted a collection of memories that conveyed the dreadful uncertainty of being first accepted then rejected under ever-shifting US Immigration policies. As of fall 2020 Dreamers still lived in limbo. A large banner stating NO HUMAN IS ILLEGAL trailed behind the carts.
