WORKFORCE: Luz Encarnacion, Ian Funderburg, Brian Hammons, Mary Anne McClusky, Curtis McLaurin, & Morgan Williams
Forensic investigated the interaction between art and work in the lives of the community members. This workforce applied the tools of art in a forensic fashion by collecting and systematically examining images--sites, people, places and activities--from the Near Westside neighborhood that reflected the history and character of that community. Ortiz and her workforce transformed the documentation into an installation /performance to illustrate the similarities between art, work and life.
